My friend had a horrible experience with this photographer. He was hired for their wedding and ended up erasing almost all of their pictures taken on their wedding day proir to their reception, basically all of the pictures with the wedding party. The photographer downloaded the pictures taken during the day at the location of the reception right before it started then deleted the pictures and reformatted the camera card before taking the rest of the pictures on the same card. The pictures were only put onto the computer with no back-up, and the computer was left unattended during the reception. Later it was found that the pictures were erased and could not be recovered from the memory card. The photographer attempted to place the blame on the bridal party, saying they must have been on the computer and did it. This demonstrated the immense unprofessional nature of this person, not even owning up to their ignorance and mistake and did not even give a reduced price because they were already being given "a deal". Additionally, the photos that were not deleted were very unprofessionally done. They were extremely over expose, making everyone look pale. There was no editting done to the photos provided. The disk given to them contained photos that were blurry and out of focus, which should have been deleted. The photos were not even rotated when saved, which really demonstrated there was no form of editing done. I hope no one has to go through an experience like this, it is so sad that my friend does not have the pictures from such an important day.
